There’s A Whole Lot of Changing Going On
In a culture driven by entertainment, distraction, and rapid technological change, this sermon calls believers to pursue substance over spectacle in their faith and daily lives. Drawing from Hebrews 12:26-27, the pastor reminds the congregation that God has promised to shake everything that lacks eternal foundation, leaving only what is truly established by him. The message is a bold challenge to Christians, and particularly to the Black community, to reject passivity, misinformation, and spiritual shallowness, and to embrace their identity as overcomers. The sermon affirms with confidence that the saints will prevail, that the church and the family will endure, and that nothing can separate the believer from the love of God. The central question posed to every listener is whether they will be a change agent or continue to be shaped by the unstable forces around them.
